Overview
Tamer Alamuddin is the Managing Director of Choate Investment Advisors. Tamer focuses on investment research and works closely with clients and the Wealth Management Group to provide tailored solutions for their wealth management needs and investment goals. He is also a member of Choate Investment Advisors’ Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing Committee, in which Tamer identifies attractive investments that also provide a social and environmental benefit.
Prior to joining Choate, Tamer was an analyst and portfolio manager at Osprey Partners, investing on behalf of major institutional clients. Tamer has also worked as a sector-specific analyst at hedge fund Akasha Capital and co-founded the long/short equity fund Tara Hill Capital. He has extensive analytic experience having worked as an analyst at Off Wall Street Research and as a consultant in the Boston office of McKinsey & Company.
